Loyalty terminal for shopping centers

After Polygone Béziers, it is the turn of Polygone Montpellier to adopt a digital terminal to promote and run its own loyalty program.

This project, as well as the design of a complementary dynamic display terminal, was carried out by our partner UNIMAGE Productions using exclusive UNIFIX modules designed to facilitate hardware maintenance.

An interactive terminal dedicated to the loyalty program

 

The interactive terminal is dedicated to the shopping center's loyalty program. Unlike the previous project, which rewards customers solely on the basis of their visits, that of Polygone Montpellier also takes into account purchases made in stores.

How ? Thanks to OCR recognition of receipts! Depending on the points accumulated, customers can access three levels of cards, each offering exclusive benefits and preferential offers.

The interactive terminal has 3 main objectives: to introduce people to the loyalty program to encourage registrations, to promote alternative methods of participation, and to allow members to consult their account and accumulate points.

A device designed for mobility

The novelty also lies in the tailor-made design of the terminals to meet the need for mobility.

Thanks to a base on wheels and a 4G LTE connection, each terminal can be moved around the shopping center while remaining connected.

The advantage? Optimize their use according to the flow of traffic.

On the material level

The terminal is in the form of a touch table incorporating a 32-inch screen. It is custom-designed by UNIMAGE Productions and has a card reader and a camera for scanning receipts.

We also find the patented UNIFIX module which is the strength of the company. The latter makes it possible to maximize the availability of the installation thanks to a replacement requiring no technical skills in the event of a failure. A solution that continues to prove its worth for optimizing maintenance costs.

This terminal is supported by a high-brightness dynamic display totem in 55" format, always tailor-made in the image of the shopping center and which also integrates UNIFIX technology.

On the application level

Designed in the Touchify studio, the user experience is based first of all on a loyalty card reader which allows customers to authenticate themselves, count their visits and open their personal space in order to consult their accumulated points.

The camera integrated into the terminal allows you to scan receipts. The system is based on optical character recognition (OCR) in order to check the validity of the ticket, if it really comes from a brand of the group and to read the amount spent. 

The ticket is then processed by the Spaycial application which manages the center's loyalty program. The application is also connected to the Salesforce CRM specific to the Polygone Montpellier shopping center.

At the same time, the objective of the terminal is also educational. Indeed, several methods of participation are possible beyond the terminal: the mobile application on the one hand, and connecting your bank account directly to the Spaycial application on the other.

It is this latter mode of operation that the shopping center now wishes to favor. It is therefore appropriate to explain and reassure this relatively innovative operation through dedicated communication on the terminal.
