An interactive screen to optimize the customer experience
"What is the cost of breakfast? What transport line should I take to get to Paris? Where is the nearest restaurant?” These are common questions asked by guests to hotel receptionists.
But with the flow of arrivals and departures, providing an answer without delay was sometimes a challenge. In order to be ever more responsive to customer requests, the hotel wanted to install an interactive information kiosk accessible 24/7.
With clear specifications, the hotel contacted a local actor, Dinamik, to imagine a tailor-made device.
A custom multilingual information kiosk
Hotel guests can now obtain information independently via the interactive kiosk in the lobby. This allows, for example, to discover the services offered by the hotel, to answer the most common questions or to access tourist information.
The material
For the user interface, the choice was made on a 32" touch screen with a wall mount. On the player side, there is a mini PC NUC i3. All the hardware was provided by our partner Humelab.
The Touchify player is compatible with most operating systems and screens on the market, so the choice was made without technical constraints.
The application
Created in the no-code Touchify studio, the application integrates many practical information: hotel services, loyalty program, nearby places, tourist guide, FAQ, transport guide...
The web integration module to display certain sections of a third-party website is perfectly exploited to integrate traffic information from the RATP.
The multilingual feature is also activated to offer a translation of content into 4 additional languages: English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
